Could it be my pillow?

I have talked about some allergy issue I have and am taking some treatment. I notice when I get up in the morning the symptoms are worse. I am wondering if it is my pillow. The bed linen gets washed at the laundry close by and we have been using it for years. An insect did bite me too I am confused. Th symptons reduce in the day. If the cause is not removed then tablets do not work I will change the bed linen and see if there is any difference.

They say to shower at night so the day’s allergens get off of your face, hair, and body to allow you to sleep with less allergy interference. Would changing your pillow case every night and showering at night specifically help? I don’t know…

It could be the pillow. What is it made of? Even if the covers are washed there could still be something in the pillow itself, perhaps dust mites, or if it is a synthetic pillow they can grow mould.
