Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Please get your mammograms. Doing so could save your life. Although it isn't as common or discussed, men do get breast cancer as well. It is important that everyone take preventative steps.

Yes indeed! I have my annual mammogram scheduled for the end of the month. It’s relatively painless and it doesn’t take the prep that something like a colonoscopy takes so get those b**bs smashed, ladies!!!!

I completely forgot about this. My mom was a victim of this terrible disease, and I truly hope that one day a permanent solution and cure will be found. It has taken so many loved ones already, and even now, I don’t see a solution on the horizon. I dream of a future where this awareness month is just a reminder of a world free from cancer in all its forms.
