An extra day with Mom this week….and another hospital visit !

So I usually come round to my Moms on a Wednesday as we go shopping early on Thursday morning, but this week I have come round today ….Tuesday ….and the reason for that is because I have a hospital appointment tomorrow morning. I haven’t seen the Consultant since the end of August. I still haven’t had physio, which is something I am going to talk to him about.
It is lovely to be able to spend some extra time with her.
I have a new Pinch of Nom cook book and she is cooking ‘ Herby chicken casserole ‘ for tea in the slow cooker…..is smells yummy.
What are you up to today ?

I love when meals are prepared in the slow cooker and it just makes the house smell delicious all day. Your mom sounds like a great cook.

@Marilynda1225 yes, it does come naturally to her. My Nan was a great cook, my Mom and Aunt both are ….my Aunt used to have a hotel in Wales and did all the cooking herself. Both of her daughters, my cousins, are professional cooks. I love cooking too and ( not to show off ) I think I am quite good too. I think it’s a family thing.

I'm glad you get to spend extra time with your Mom. Nothing much today. Tomorrow morning I go for my kidney CT scan. I hope your appointment goes well.
