Birthday Celebrating

Happy Tuesday Everyone! the sun is shining but rain expected by late afternoon and overnight. Hoping it isn't too bad as my older daughter is coming over for dinner tonight. Last week was her birthday but she and my son in law were on a cruise. It's the first birthday in many years that she wasn't home for us to celebrate together. We declared tonight "girls night" (me, my younger daughter and the birthday girl) I know she loves lasagna so I spent the morning making one and I'll pop it in the oven closer to dinner. It takes a lot of work putting together a lasagna but she's worth the effort and does so much for me. I cheated though, and bought a small cake when we had our Walmart delivery. Usually I would bake a cake but I wanted something a bit more fancy. i hope she's surprised. I'm really looking forward to our evening
