My induction oven refused to work yesterday. Now it is an appliance I need everyday. Especially on a working day I need this machine in its best functional capacity.
It helps me to warm water, boil milk and prepare tea in 15 to 30 minutes.
It comes handy when I need to warm dal and curry quickly for lunch.
I need it again in the evening boil milk and soup.
With its dysfunction I find myself quite handicapped. So , I rode to the nearest market to get it repaired. My usual mechanic restored it to some functional level but perhaps I might need to buy a new one in a short while.
Do you use an induction top in your kitchen? What are the issues if any you face?
PS: I tried to upload an image but failed.

I don't have this but we have gas hotplates, an electric oven and a microwave so we're very lucky in that respect. I'm sorry about your induction top.

It's amazing how we don't realize how much we rely on an appliance until it breaks down! Glad your mechanic could at least get it working for now. The daily tea and dal routine is so relatable. We use an induction top too—incredibly efficient, though sometimes the automatic shut-off feature can be a bit too sensitive with certain pots. Hope yours holds up until you're ready for a new one!
