Firefighters with the New Haven Fire Department answered an emergency call from a bystander who saw two dogs who were close to the face of a cliff on Sunday October 5 at East Rock Park in Connecticut.
The firefighters used a high angle rope with one firefighter rescuing on pup at a time since the dogs were about 40 feet down the edge of the mountain.
Both dogs were rescued by the firefighters. Since the owner of the dogs could not b located by the firefighters, the dogs were taken by the firefighters to a local animal shelter.
Hopefully the dogs will be either adopted or reunited with their owner soon.

That is a long way down a mountain for the two dogs to be, and I hope there was no foul play there, and somebody never threw them off the cliff to get rid of them, as that would be a very nasty thing to do.

I also hope that foul play was not involved either.
