Can You Whistle?

I can't whistle at all.
Never have been able to.
I used to wonder if it was because my teeth were crooked but even now that they've been straightened with braces I still can't whistle.
Is it a tongue thing? A breath thing? I don't know.
Can you whistle?

@looeyville Sadly my skill in that department has been severely compromised by false teeth much to my wife’s delight.

Oh I totally get where your wife is coming from. I can't stand whistling servers in restaurants.

@LooeyVille Goodness, I’ve never heard a server whistle. That would be a bit disturbing. My wife would ask him to stop. No she wouldn’t, she’d TELL him to stop.

Ha ha ha …good question. No I can’t really whistle….not a tune anyway ….i can, maybe make a short sound ….i have no idea why …..!

Yes, but not like my dad used to do. He was very skilled. He could whistle any tune.
