first wood stove fire of the season

summer is over, thank goodness. This morning it was chilly enough to start a fire in the wood stove, which makes me happy. Later in the year it will just be a chore, but for now it's really nice. right now it is 44 degrees. Not cold, but chilly enough for a fire, especially since it has been raining on and off. It will get up in the sixties this afternoon, so I don't really need it. But it's nice,and I don't plan on keeping it going too long. Happy fall!

I never look forward to the end of summer. But of course, fall and winter must be endured. I'd cancel both seasons if I could. lol
