A large swath of the GOP is losing its mind over that Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny has been selected for this year’s Super Bowl halftime performance. He is known for speaking out about immigration and politics in this country. He refused to do US shows during his recent tour because he was concerned that ICE and Cosplay Barbie would target those who would attend them. And he’s not wrong. It has already been widely reported that there will be a large presence at the Super Bowl. Of course Trump had to weigh in on the selection saying it was “crazy” and “absolutely ridiculous”. The best is he followed that up with a comment that Bad Bunny “does not seem like a unifying entertainer”. That’s rich coming from the guy who has so completely divided this country. Speaker Johnson suggested Lee Greenwood as the performer. Bro is famous for ONE song. Marjorie Taylor Greene said it would be a “perverse unwanted performance”. These people are a joke. it is worth noting that Bad Bunny is more American than Melania Trump and these are the same people who swore off the NFL because Colin Kaepernick took a knee during the national anthem.
