Black and White

I am a fan of vintage movies. Those from about mid 30s to the early 50s. They are all in black and white. Now many young people won't watch one in black and white. I was brought up on them. Old westerns and the early television shows, all in black and white. What's wrong with it? Even some directors more recently do an entire movie in black and white for the effect. Take "Schindler's List" for instance. Steven Spielberg did a wonderful job, and it was all black and white. (If you haven't seen it you really should).
They came up with Panavision in the 60's I guess it was. That was like coloring over the black and white. I didn't care for it.
What are your thoughts on seeing movies in black and white?

I enjoy seeing movies and television shows that are in black and white since it is good for me to enjoy entertainment shows.

If it's a good movie, it doesn't matter....like the first King Kong. So cool.

I don't mind seeing them in black and white all the TV shows I grew up with were in black and white, Some of the old movies don't translate well when colorized,
