Tonight on the way home from Bingo, we stopped at Little Caesars to get some of those Pizza Puffs with Steak and Cheese. Tom got out and was headed inside when a really young man held the door for him. The man was in fatigues and Tom thanked him for his service. Tom went in and as the man went in the door...he took off his hat. He and Tom were talking. Tom ordered and then came outside. We sat in the truck waiting on our order, and we could see the young man..he stood at what Tom called Parade Rest or At Ease. He stood with his hands behind his back..legs apart. We watched inside, and a woman was carrying out a large order and he held the door for her. Just a really Respectful young man all the way around. He had just gotten out of basic training. It really made me think that there really IS hope in the next generation. Of course that hope was reduced when we opened up our Pizza Puffs at home. Sad And NO we did not win at Bingo, but we had a really good time, and one of his friends bought us one of those strainers that fit across the sink. Can't wait to use it.
