Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 59 degrees F, dark, raining, and very windy here at the Jersey Shore. We are in the middle of a nor'easter. The school district that serves the town I live in cancelled classes for today. The school district that I work in was already closed for Columbus Day. I woke up stupid early because I went to bed early last night. I will go back to sleep at some point but for now I'm up. I didn't get around to making the sourdough crackers last night so I will do that it in a bit. I have several other kitchen projects planned--apple pie yogurt parfaits for work breakfasts, sourdough discard banana breads (2), fruit salad jars, and maybe even soft pretzels. We'll see how much motivation I have. I have no plans to go anywhere which is a good thing since it is so crappy out. I'll just chill here with the cats and do my thing in the kitchen. I'm just glad that I don't have to go to work. What's everyone else up to today?
