The Most Expensive Remotes

Can you believe it? Expensive remotes? But, I guess if you have more than just the usual music system, surround sound, televisions and what not then you need a remote to control them all. High-end universal remotes (that can control up to 60 devices) can run you $200. The poor thing should get paid extra to all of that work. And, who has that many devices?

@celticeagle I can't use my VCR/DVD Recorder/Player anymore. It needs a different type of cable now with the new TV.

I do think the costly remote isn't worth buying.you can use built-in remote on phone,a remote function was built-in at my phone.I can use it for free.

I think one remote is enough to control all devices.

You would be amazed how many deviceses a person has in their home. I have three homepads, two smart theremastats (only one's installed), several smart plugs, lights with motion detection. An alarm system with an indoor camera, a doorbell camera, and four adational cameras covering every corner of my house. I have two laptops I can use back and fourth. I have three t.v.'s a portable dishwasher, an automatic grage door opener, while not quite 60, it's a lot if you counted everything. And, that's not counting tablets, smart watches smart phonees... and more. Oh, I also have a bare-basics smart door lock, too.

@celticeagle I didn't cover everything we have, but it's a lot. You often don't realize how many things you can accumulate. The adverage smart home has upwards to 20 connected devices, which may not include t.v.'s dvd players, or gaming consols.
