Dear all,
I will be 39 in a short bit, but thanks to a great vitamin regimen, I feel better now than I did at 19, I mean that literally.
I feel like I'm getting a second shot at youth, and all because I corrected vitamin deficiencies, pretty sweet!
Controversial opinion, I believe a lot of ailments are actually caused by vitamin deficiency over time.
Pharma is so keen to pump us full of pills, it never occurs to some people that actually just taking better care of themselves nutritionally could be the best option for treatment.

I do think you are onto something, and the younger you are to realize this, the better off you are. I say the same thing about most of the financial advice I give.
The more you know early on, the better off you will be later on.
I have taken vitamins for years. I take a multi, I take vitamin C and D. Over the years I have switched in and out of E and A (via beta carotene), although I do not take those two today.
Some years ago, I started taking Omega-3.
I can say that throughout my life, I have had relatively few health issues, rarely get sick or have colds, and am still generally healthy today at 52 aside from the usual aches and pains, and the unfortunate degenerative disc disease in my back that has led to arthritis.
And that is despite not necessarily leading a very active or health-conscious lifestyle. I have always drunk a bit too much, and I was a smoker for many years of my life (with a 13-year gap) and currently vape.
I do think supplements do help a lot, even though there is quite a bit of debate about that. Currently the only medication I am on is metoprolol tartrate which is for high blood pressure, and I hope not to add any more any time soon.

I am glad you're feeling better. I have to totally change my diet; and I should notice improvement and weight loss. I have to watch my cholesterol, blood sugar and kidney disease.

"I feel better now than I did at 19,"
I wish I was 39 again I could work my ? off & get a lot done
that I can't do now cause my health took a nose dive 3 yrs
ago & has really slowed me down a bit BUT I'm getting
better as time heals my body with the meds I'm on.
God above has really been helping me to gain my
health & strength back & give me that 2nd chance.

Yes, nutrition is super important. I think that sometimes, especially in my own shopping and cooking, we can lose vital nutrients from the foods that we choose because of convenience. Every time I prepare a meal with whole ingredients, I can feel the difference in energy.

Eating in a healthy manner is the best way to live. We can avoid so much sickness. Most of us can get all our vitamins in just the right foods! Of course, some people can eat right, and still have a vitamin deficiency. My sister had to start taking Vitamin B12 shots because she had pernicious anemia. No amount of right eating can fix that. But she lost weight recently, and she feels better than ever.
