I don't know what to do...

I'm probably being impatient, and I looked up the "proper etiquette" for inquiring about a job after an interview, which I tried to follow, but...
I was told I'd hear back from the place I had the interview on Thursday (today). My interview was on Tuesday. I've been waiting all day and haven't heard a thing!
I'm not sure if I should have, but I texted the guy I had the interview with, thanking him for the opportunity to speak with him and stuff.
Just...darn it, if they're going to hire me (or not), I wish they'd get around to saying so so that I could get on to something else!

While it is proper edicuate to thank the person you had an interview with, text messages usually aren't exactly the best way to go about this. That being said, most people tell you to give a business at least a month to get back to you, because they are usually going through tens of thousands of aplicants.
