Like I said in my last post, I texted the guy I had the interview with.
Not much later, he texted me back, thanking me for my interest and that the position had been filled.
Oh, well. God's got a different plan for me.
Tomorrow I will call the Department of Rehabilitation, who called me the other day asking if I still wanted to work with them. I told the lady I spoke to about the interview I'd had, and she said if I did or didn't get the job to let them know so I could work with them again.

hi Stacey, sis i was wondering about the interview you had, and now i see this post of yours and my question got answered. Im sorry you didnt get the position. I am sure there is and will be a better one for you to fill in. Everything in the Lord's perfect timing. You cannot miss what is meant to be yours, ok?
by the way, you mentioned the Dept. of Rehab, it seems their willing to accept you in, is it something you are considering or something else....
whatever it is, i hope the best for you :-)
ps. believe me, if you did not get something, later on you will thank it because something else is waiting for you..

That's a shame that you didn't get the job. However, I've learned that when a potentioal employeer says 'we'll let you know, o we'll get back to you. Usually means they don't have an interest in you. Typically if you get a job, they'll schedule a call back or something of that nature.

I'm so glad I'm done looking for work- retired
I hated looking for work & got told the job was filled
I hope everything works out for you, it's a dog eat dog world.
