Street food ….chicken tikka and rice …..

So today we went to a local town as we know that sometimes there is a guy that sells the best chicken samosa.
Unfortunately, by the time we had got there he had sold out. We now have his details do have arranged to collect some soon from him.
However, because we were starving we decided to try something else he had.
We chose chicken tikka and rice. Oh my days ….the best we have had.
They were huge portions and we both have half each left. That’s tomorrow’s tea sorted.
It’s amazing what you find when you’re not looking !

We used to go to a place in Edgeware road where they used to make the most amazing lamb samosas. It was also a fish & chip shop. We would order two Fish & chips & two Samosas. They would put the fish & chips in front of me then ask my wife (who is from Mauritius ) & her sister who is having fish & chips. I used to say the samosas are mine they are having F&Cs. The look on the waiters face was priceless.

I can imagine the look on the waiters face ….i bet a few felt silly and embarrassed at assuming !

@Traceyjayne Yes hilarious when they assume. I remember on a ship the waiter gave me a menu which was in French when l ordered the food l ordered in French his face was a picture. His face crumpled. Hilarious! He said he didn't speak French I asked him how he understands the French people on the ship he said they just point to what they want as he memorises the English menu. Same with the German one! I know I am cruel.
