Full of surprises.

Sometimes when it comes to George, I never know what to expect. This morning I did his first tube feed closer to noon instead of around2 PM. Secondly, He asked me for help cleaning under the bumper of his peg tube. I can see how red and sore it looks, and I can see why the doctor wants it out, but they haven't called me back to schedule a time. I paused his blood thinner expecting to get a call sometime tomorrow with a time. Hopefully, we can get this sorted soon and know what we're expecting. He asked me for milk, and that in and of itself isn't a surprise (aside from the fact that he asked for it just before 5 P.M.) but he was also halfway out the door and sat outside and watched the school bus go buy. He still likes to do that from time to time. It's still low 80's so it's still hot. He wasn't out long. I don't think he's feeling that great today. I'll do my best to help him whatever the case.

I hope he is not getting an infection from the irritated peg tube.

No, he's on amoxicillin. It's a pain in the rear and tends to make you sick. The dosage is fairly high and the corse is long. Most antibotics tell you to take it with food, to prevent stomach upset. Because of how large the pills are, I have to hide them in food.

I'm sure he will. Antibotics can knock you on your butt.
