Peacock is India's national bird. The peacock diya is a mud diya created in the shape of peacock. Oil has to be added and when the cotton is ignited with match stick the diya really creates bright atmosphere.

That’s a lovely description! The peacock diya sounds both beautiful and meaningful. In Indian culture, the peacock symbolizes grace, beauty, and pride, so having a diya shaped like one adds a special touch to celebrations. When the oil is poured and the cotton wick is lit, the warm glow must look stunning almost as if the peacock itself is radiating light.
It’s amazing how something as simple as a clay lamp can create such a bright and peaceful atmosphere, connecting tradition, artistry, and spirituality all in one.
