Saturday is Tom and My Anniversary..27 years together. Tom asked me where I wanted to go out to eat. I told him Gene's Oyster Bar. Well, Gene's gets Fresh seafood on Tues and Fri. So we went last night and celebrated early. I got the sampler..Fried Oysters, Shrimp, Grouper, Hushpuppies, and Onion Rings. Tom got Fried Mullet, Fried Okra, and Onion Rings. Everything was Fresh and SOOOO Good! Gene's has been in business for decades. Little Hole In The Wall Oyster Bar. Until the new owner took over they didn't sell beer or wine. Now they do, and they are expanding the place. I am hoping the atmosphere doesn't change. Always an interesting time at Gene's...Good Food..Good Oysters, Good Service. Friendly environment.
