Here I go again.

Good morning, second try.
I tried to post but it kept timing out. When I finally got it to come up, I lost the post. Aches and pains of site life. Used to it by now. I just have to keep at it until something sticks.
I should've insisted on going with Advent a long time ago. I've been getting follow-up appoitntments for George with no issue from the VA. I think it's because they work closely with them, and the care is exceptional. I may not always agree with their methods, and the rush scared me, but by the time we actually managed to schedule, it was respectfully a month out.
I'm thankful for that. I'd rather be annoyed by continious text messages, then have nothing and constantly be questioning everything. I remember that I'd gone to a follow-up with George (and this was before he started driving) only to show up and learn that it was canceled. Nope. Hasn't happened. They even did their 'we want to get paid' and va goes 'okay' your co-pay is nothing. I'll take it.

Advent Health is one of the many hospital networks we have here.

@dfollin Here in Daytona, there's two I'm aware of, and that's Advent Health and Halifax health. I hate halafix. I'm convinced they nearly killed my husband, but I can't prove it. but that's neither here nor there. He's home now, and we're onward and upwards twords recovery.

I've been coming on the site later in the day and haven't had any problems. I'm sorry you've experiences issues.
My dad went through the VA and it's not a good story. I'm glad you folks are having a better experience. A 0 copay is great.

@celticeagle I can hope so. George asked me how long he'd been on his antibotics today.

Oh, there's a lot to hate about the VA, like how they want to do everything through them, and that the outpatient clinic is virturally useless. Getting community care takes months, and often times follow-up appointments are canceled without me knowing.
I scheduled a procedure, and I've been harassed to echeck-in. So I doubt the Va's going to nix that without warning.

I am sure the VA is bad again, because a lot of their funding has been cut to staff and workers Thanks to Trump budget cuts. They went through a good period for awhile.

I'm glad things are working out for you. I've heard a lot of complaints about the VA.

The U.S. is one of the worst, because we're supposed to not only be the most developed country, but the richest. However, we can't seem to take care of our own. Many of us want afordable universal health care, but because of how we've chosen to govorn ourselves, that's impossible and money talks.

@Nevena83 I have to agree, and I live here. How we've not run out of Money by now I'll never know.

@kaylachan Yes, it's always been said that America is the richest, but sometimes I don't think so.
