India lost to Australia in the one days 2 nil in the first 2 matches. While Rohit Sharma struggled but spend time in the crease and got 73 runs, Virat Kohli got out for a duck. Now that after 3rd one day in Australia India has more T20s and tests. It is very difficult for the 2 superstars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to retain their place in Indian team. Virat Kohli's records are outstanding in one days with 51 centuries and 14000 runs.

I am not following the tournament. But yes, heard my husband ranting and feeling disappointed with the result. He even gave his unnecessary advice for Kohli to retire
. Well, every superstar sportsperson has bad days.

thanks Arunimaji I have huge soft corner. India has a habit of embarassing legendary cricketers and compelling them to retire. When Virat was having best captainship records Rohit was made the captain of tests with an insult to Virat. Now when Rohit and Virat helped India win champions trophy one day cup and T20 world cup both of them were insulted and compelled to retire from tests. Now the same might be repeated in one days. I saw how gloriously New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee retired when Sir Richard Hadlee came to give him honor and told good bye. India did not even give Rohit Virat a chance to retire in front of home crowd

@arunima25 thanks Arunimaji in the 3 matches Rohit Sharma scored the highest runs for India and got man of the series. Technically the captain Shubhman Gill is the biggest failure and if a player should be thrown out of the team it should be Shubhman Gill. Statistics say after Tendulkar highest run getter is Virat Kohli in one days with 14000 runs and 3rd is Rohit Sharma with 11000 runs. In their absence others are mediocres. India loves mediocres because it is easy to do politics with them.

Having two ducks in a row could easily mess with your confidence.
