The organ was discovered during a PET CT scan at a Netherland cancer institute in 2020. It is called the Tubarial salivary gland and is located between the nasal cavity and the throat. It is significant only during radiotherapy and is ingulfed in a lot of controversy.

So what is the controversy about? Is it that some people are questioning the legitimacy of the discovery itself? Or something else?

It's amazing that there was a part of the human body not previously discovered.
