SHould plus size models be on the front cover of elite fashion magazines?

A decade or so a go a well known glamorous high fashion magazine got a bit too politically correct and started using plus sized models on their front covers and inside the magazine.I dont think it was Vogue but that type of magazine. Yep, it did not go well. After a big roar of righteous praise in the industry like the catwalk crowd cheering some mannequin in high heels wearing what looks like a bin bag on the Paris runway and some positive PR coverage for their efforts, six months sales would fall and the plus size models got a little less plus sized over the year and the female editor gone 18 months later. It didn't work. I think the editor knew it wouldn't. But she had no choice. A bit like casting a black and gay Dr Who. It was a response to the criticism over the years that the girls looked too thin and unhealthy on the front covers and tales of young models eating toilet paper to stay stick thin for modeling jobs and others developing eating disorders put the industry in a bad light. Their answer was chubby ladies. But young women dont read these magazines to see themselves on the front cover but want to feel like they are the slinky thin beautiful girl on the cover. Fashion is about aspiration to be something better with likewise people. They may not want to sacrifice their burger & chips to do it but we like to dream. There are no fat women in Africa. Its better to claim the 'fat gene' exist than to workout everyday. Only attractive younger women tend to workout in gyms. Plain girls are plain girls. I think the industry were crazy to think they would sell more magazines and clothes by putting size 14s on the cover. Today the models are as thin as ever and back to where we were as toilet role is chewed. The top female models still get paid 140% more than the top male models and very few feminist want to go down that particular rabbit hole. Thoughts?

No since oversize models look bad on the covers of magazines and being oversized leads to health issues.

I am against too thin models who look like anorexic ghosts, but I also dislike plus size women on a cover. Most plus size women just want to lose weight.
