Figured out how to watch some of my shows for free

My Spectrum TV package is TV stream. This means that I watch TV through the Spectrum app. It costs only $40/month, which is a great deal. It has many of the channels I watch. The downside is that it doesn't have CBS, NBC, FOX, and ABC channels. I thought I would have to subscribe to different streaming channels to be able to watch my shows. So far, I have been able to avoid that. I have been able to watch NBC shows (The Voice, Chicago PD) by downloading the NBC app and accessing it on my Roku. Thankfully, I do not need to login with my TV provider to watch their shows. That is great as logging in with my TV provider wouldn't work anyway as I don't have those channels in my TV package. By not logging in, I unfortunately have to wait a week to watch the latest episodes but at least I can watch them. The CBS app doesn't allow me to watch my shows (NCIS, NCIS: Origins, Tracker) without logging in with my TV provider. It wouldn't work anyway as my TV package doesn't have this channel. Luckily, I can watch these shows on the CBS website on my laptop, which allows me to watch without logging in with my TV provider. I don't remember if I have to wait a week or not. What's important is that I can watch them. I haven't yet tried to watch any FOX or ABC shows so not sure if I can watch them anywhere without having to subscribe to a streaming service. I sure hope it's possible.

Honestly, sounds like you’ve got the whole thing figured out better than most of us. It’s kind of wild how many hoops we gotta jump through just to watch a few shows, but hey—at least you’re beating the system for now.

Not 100%. There are still FOX and ABC shows to figure out how to watch.
