Tried To Do a Good Deed Today

After feeding Blackie and a few peanuts to Buddy and the BlueJay, I went to my Lotto Store/Cigarette Store. They have new scratch off tickets, so I tried..won more on the $2 than the $5. Went to the Pharmacy and got Tom's Magnesium Oxide, then to Walmart. Going in, I found a cart right by my van. Inside was a Wallet. THICK wallet. I looked around, but didn't see anyone looking for it. I put my purse over it and went inside to turn it in the Service Desk. There was like 10 people in line. And the Greeter at the Door, had a nose ring and weird hair, so I just went on and got the things I came for, then after checking out, I was walking towards the Service Desk, and the guy at the door saw the wallet in my hand and reached for it.. I handed it to him, and told him it was in the cart and I was trying to turn it in. He said She is going to be one happy lady! I had looked in it to see if there was an ID, but No ID..Lots of Credit/Debit and Gift Cards, but no ID. Find that weird. There was a small picture of a lady...obviously by her name on the Credit Cards, she was Hispanic. I have lost wallets in the past, and somehow they came back to me with everything in them. So I was glad there was no money in that one. I have also had purses stolen and to shut down your credit/debit cards, and checking account is a pain. Felt good that she was going to get her wallet back. Tom took the Steak, Green Pepper, Onion, combo we had last night..added rice, Cream of Mushroom soup, and water..then baked it and added cheese on top. It was pretty good. I don't really like rice much, but with the meat combo and he added a can of mushrooms as well...it really was good. Of COURSE we had my Garlic Bread with it. LOL Pretty cold and a stiff wind tonight. 56° right noe.
