They are the ones that voted 'no' and chose to shut down the government.
So when you see starved ragged bodies laying in the streets, don't blame the Republicans. They tried to pass a budget.
The Democraps said "Naw, I'd rather watch America starve".

Despite Schumer's endless rants, he knew ALL ALONG 60 votes were needed to pass the bill and Republicans only have a 53-47 majority. Those who are paying attention know who is responsible for the shut down. Others want to simply pass the blame. Now the nuclear option might be on the table, and that's just Democrats shooting themselves in the foot further, because if the filibuster goes, the Democrats hand more power over to the Republicans and all bets are off.
We'll see if the nuclear option makes the Democrats get off their butts and reopen the government. But it's definitely THEIR shut down. The Republicans have voted 13 times to reopen it.
