Two people reported in sick, one said she needed to go find out if she was contagious. You know, even with just two people at the writer's meeting, we had fun. Tons of laughter. We yelled "the goblins are going to get 'ya if ya don't watch out!!" together. Just crazy time. Friend showed up in a marvelous Wicked Witch of the West costume. I wore cat ears over my orange bucket hat. Rufus wore his red and black checkered sweater. Hubby was a kilt wearing Druid- fake greens crown on his head. One person brought muffins and the other banana bread so we are well stocked on sweet snacks. I made my avocado chocolate date pudding. That went down easy. Today I drove back to the Vet to pick up meds for Beau and some for Rufus- I keep him stocked for the Fourth of July hell. This time around I took Moxe in to the Vet clinic. She needs socialized. She trembled but did her best to walk nicely. She finally consented to have her weight checked. She still weighs 45 pounds. I think she should weigh 50 but 45 pounds means she has gained about 8 pounds since we adopted her. A Vet helper came out and goo oohed all over Moxe so she got some social time in. At this point I don't know if Moxe will ever grow up but in her soft way she tries hard to pay attention and walk nicely. I am in no shape to deal with her if she pits her weight against me so it is a must that she listen to me. And on we go......
