There are several people here on MyLot that have an interest in true crime, serial killers and the minds of serial killers. Last night I watched Part 1 of an interview with Jeffrey Dahmer called "Dahmer on Dahmer". Aside from the fact that it was interesting to hear his take on the horrible crimes that he committed, one fact was brought out that could possibly explain his behavior. His mother was very mentally disturbed. During her pregnancy with Jeffrey, she took 27 pills a day including antidepressants, growth hormones and progesterone. It was brought out that the fetus could have been affected by all this medication; and I agree. If you get a chance to watch this program, I highly recommend it.

You are kinda right...I have seen people in worse circumstances who have turned out good human beings- or atleast tried to be one

I think part of the fascination is we all want to understand what leads a person to become a predator. The scariest thing about them is that outside of their "passion" to kill, you'd never have a clue who they were or what they were up to.
