Happy Halloween, Kinda Sorta

Hey, it's Halloween, so why not share something Halloweeny, right? Well, in this case it's a song I wrote back in 2002 and released called 102 Idle Stones. Not really a Halloween song at all. But hey! It's got things coming up from broken soil in a graveyard and gravestones in the lyrics, so it has to be at least somewhat qualified, no? In any event, I thought I'd share. So, do you think it passes? ***VIDEO IS NOT MONETIZED!!!***

Not monetize, doesn't that go against your religion?

Indeed it does. But sharing monetized things here breaks the rules, so I share non-monetized versions. My music is monetized everywhere else on platforms like Spotify, iTunes, Pandora, Apple Music and so on and so forth.

Not monetised? Why not?

The songs are in other places, like Spotify. But I still like to share, so I keep non-monetized versions available where I can to stay within the rules.

Great beat to the song and I love flamingos,

The flamingos thing came from the main two songs on the album, Pink Flamingoes and Pink Flamingoes (remake), both intentionally misspelled, the original version being probably the most streamed song on the album for whatever reason. Glad you liked the song and even liked the beat. Had I recorded this song today, being more versed in drum programming, I'd have changed the drums up a bit more throughout the song. Not masterpieces, but they are still fun to share.

Within the first 10 seconds or so, I made up my mind that I didn't like it, because I thought it was too slow for my tastes. But being the good buddy I am to you, I thought it only fair that I listen to the entire track. But guess what? By about the 2 minute mark, I was like, "hey, this is a pretty good song. I do like it after all!" So there you go...I started off not liking it, then ended up liking it after all in the end!

I will still chalk that up as a win. Onward and upward.

Very nice. I had trouble hearing the lyrics though.

Everybody says that. To me they ring in clear as a bell, so that always puzzles me.
