Happy morning from this side of the planet. This is a bright sunny and pleasant morning. 
. Well, it is 11 AM as I write this. It's late morning now.

We have just come back from the celebration in our apartment down. We had few cultural programs showing the flavour of rich culture of the state.It's 1st November and the day is celebrated as Karnataka Rajyaotsava. I am not a native of this state, but I have been staying here for more than a decade now. And I feel very connected to it. I have picked up their food, celebrations and they become a part of my life too now. They have mixed well with the different cultures I was born it. And now I am much better conversing in the state's language, Kannada. I plan to learn to read and write in the language too.
I could not be here yesterday to wish you for Halloween. I hope that all mylotters who celebrate Halloween had a great time. My younger daughter's birthday falls on Halloween. And this year, we went out for dinner in a fine dining restaurant. One of our friends from Australia and his family has come to the city. We invited them too and our nephew and niece too joined us. It was fun and good time with good food and ambience. But then we missed the fun of trick or treat back home.
It's a new month here and I hope that all of you are geared up with hope and enthusiasm to welcome this. Happy November.
And I missed the payout threshold for this month too here. It's been 3 months, if I remember well, to be paid here. And the shame is that I touched 4.9980.

Nice to get good updates!
Happy belated Karnataka Day.
Well, I hope you also caught the action of Indian Women Team winning the ODI World Cup 2025.
It was a historic night - a watershed moment in the Indian Women's cricket.
This is akin to the Men's World Cup 1983 win.
I have made it past the 5 mark but after the 31 October deadline.
So the payout would come in December.
It is still not that cold here. Just some early morning nip.
Fans are still on.
I recall the times when we stopped fans after 20th October.
Those days seem so far !!
Good that you can now converse better in Kannada.
Always good to know multiple languages.

Well today morning was quite cold.
I wore sweater for the first time thus season!
So officially winters start here.
Good that you are progressing in Kannada!

Just a few days back, we were roaming in half sleeve T shirts day and night.
It has suddenly became cold during early mornings and late nights.
Weather experts attribute it to some snowfall in higher reaches of Himalayas(Himachal/J&K).
But during the daytime, one can still roam around without a sweater.
That might change after 20 November.
Is it still rainy there?

I couldn't watch the match and sorry didn't even catch with the replay. But yes, super excited about the victory. This would be a landmark in the History of Women's cricket in India and going to inspire generations. I have read every news, watched all social media posts, read all inside stories and the struggle of each player.
Even I crossed the five dollars mark the very next day. And each day I am making 1 cent since then.

@arunima25 thanks Arunimaji Delhi is known for smog as well. Calcutta also has smog. The max temp in calcutta in 29 degree celsius minimum is 19 degree celsius

I am sorry that November is tough. I hope that things are getting better with passage of time. We have already crossed the mid of the month. Time flies!
Yes, many who don't live in Karnataka don't know about it. It's celebrated in big jubilant way across the state. And if you come in Karnataka, you will find something or other happening throughout the month of November celebrating the culture, heritage and raising awareness about the state's glory amongst youngsters. It's really a good experience.
