George has been feeling more pro active about his health in recent months. When we were at the VA for a follow-up, George announced he wanted to make an eye appoitment. So, we did that. We went a couple weeks ago. Today, George was fitted for his new glasses, because he decided on a whim, he was going to go and get it done. Probably while on the porch watching the world go by. I'm fine with that. The doctor, or whoever does it, had to call me in, because George was struggling to communicate. So... I was surprised about that, that's fine though. I'm prepared for whatever comes. It's not often I'm actually called into a room to help him, but I'm always nearby in case. We drove over the bridge got some food and George stole some fries while I was in 7-Eleven. Good to see him interested in grazing and sneaking bites of food.
