York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office (YPSO) Sergeant Sam Demarest answered an emergency call on Wednesday October 29 in Williamsburg Virginia when a deer had been trapped between two metal bars in a fence. Sergeant Demarest used his skills to separate the two metal bars so that the deer could go free and not be stuck on the fence. The deer managed to go back to the forest grateful to be free once again. Link is yahoo.com/news/videos/oh...

Deer are so lovely. I wish they could be pets (but I would never do that).

I know what you mean since I like deer myself, but I cannot have one as a pet.

It’s amazing how often this happens with animals. Pleased this one is safe though.

That is true that animals get into trouble with being stuck in steel bars in fences.

Mr cop to the rescue :-) That was a kind act of him. I hope the deer learns for the future not to get stuck again. The poor animals suffer from a lack of space to live safely in. We need to find better ways to blend with nature instead of using it and destroying it.

Many animal control officers are saying that animals will invade houses since their homes are being taken away from them.

A good rescue; the deer must have bitten off more than it could chew, thinking that it could squeeze through the metal bars in that fence.
