So Far so Good With the CPAP

United States

I haven't missing a single night using the CPAP since I was told to start using it on October 1st. I took it on vacation with me and used it both at the hotel and on the ship every night. It's really not so bad. I know some people complain that they can't use it and I originally thought I'd be too claustrophobic to use it, but it's not so bad. I do get mask lines on my face in the mornings though for a few hours.

That's good that you use it. My husband refused to use his.

I've used a CPAP machine since 2015 and don't sleep well without it now. And yes, I also have pressure lines on my face when I first wake up. (It's very rare that I fall asleep without wearing the CPAP mask.) I bought a smaller CPAP machine that uses the same mask/hose that my regular one does so I could take it on trips and not need to carry the bulkier machine with me traveling. (I bought the travel CPAP on Amazon for $150. It doesn't shut itself off when I take the mask off but I just press a button and shut the machine off manually.)

I'm glad it's working out better than expected. Does it help you sleep better?
