The Disaster of Trump

China trades with more countries than any other. China virtually 'invaded' the 3rd World in the 1980s by selling cheaper products. Being far more intelligent than given credit for, those in the 3rd World slowly withdrew from 'string loans' (these are loans the US gave which had to be used to purchase American products). As American businesses come to 3rd World countries to buy goods to import to the United States we aren't paying tariffs. We don't export to the US in many cases. I give you this background to explain why the tariffs impact on Americans more than any other, why China played the pitiful puppy so as to get reductions in tariffs and why Putin has never and will never 'obey' Trump. That Trump knows nothing about business, save how to grab money from others and then declare bankruptcy, it is pretty clear the damage done to the US economy by him. That Musk fired many significant people meant that disasters are going to be worse tracking hurricanes, for example, is beyond the ability of those who remain. As time passes, and more countries turn away from the U.S. the effects will be long lasting if not permanent.

As long as US enjoys High Per Capita Income and Big Defense budgets, things would be in its favor. However, if some day, China invades Taiwan, things could go topsy turvy. Some of the mad recent actions would however be detrimental to the US economy. China is using its leverage as a Big consuming country to make America go on backfoot(a cricket analogy).

the US doesn't really enjoy a High Per Capita income... there are the rich, the super rich, who make it seem that salaries are high. Many people in the US can not even afford to rent a crummy place

@jaylar Yes the Ginni coefficient that measures inequality is unfavorable looking for US. I do not remember the value but one can look up on Net.

America is a country full of many spoiled and idiotic people. For Trump to believe for one moment that Putin would 'obey' him just shows me how demented and ignorant he is. He looks up to this filth so much and yet he thinks that such as Putin would obey such as Trump. Come on Trump! Use the two brain cells, if that, you DO have and see the truth. Trump thinks he is a business tzar. It is going to take so long for America to get back on just basic funning balance when Trump and his idiots finally leave that it is going to be sad indeed. I hope that at some point in the future America can get some of it's momentum back and we can get back to some kind of normalcy. I know it will take a lot and it will be a while, but I do hope I see it begin at least before I am here no more.

@jaylar .......His narcissistic ways won't let him believe he doesn't have us all in the palm of his hand. I hope Trump doesn't get to where he sends military into neighborhoods and kills people. I hope I die before that happens. I couldn't bare it. He's done enough already.

that is reality. One of the tragedies is that Trump has insulted and alienated so many people that not dealing with the US is kind of first in the agenda. If he only had the brains to know how we all not merely hate him, but ridicule him. Further, many countries are far more lawful than the US. Think of Brasil prosecuting Bolsanaro. Some years ago the PM sent troops into a community and they killed people. He was forced to resign and disappear.

I've noticed he blames Biden for everything. He can't take responsibility
