Got My Nails Updated With a Good Mani-Pedi

For whatever reason my hair and nails grow really fast. Not thick enough hair but it grows quickly. So I really have to keep up with my fingernails and toenails to keep them trimmed and filed appropriately. I've never been good at doing that myself, I lack the skills, so I get manicures/pedicures about once every couple of months. It seems like I just had one 1 month ago but they were out of control, so I got a pedicure today with a nail polish color like pumpkin-spice and I got my manicure without polish. Do you get manis or pedis?

I usually do my nails myself. I have occasionally been to a salon for a manicure and to get my nails painted …..but, there is no way I want people going anywhere near my feet !

I don't I just cut them and buff them because I am always pounding on the keyboard. Mine also grow fast and as soon as my fingers slide off the keys I now to trim them,

Pedicures, but not manicures. I just feel like it’s wasted because I wash my hands so much. I got my first pedicure when I was 29, and really appreciated the foot massage. My dad pays for it.

I've never had a mani/pedi but my hair and nails also grow fast. (My hair is thick, though.) I have to cut my fingernail once a week and my toenails once every two weeks or Pretty starts saying I'm growing eagle talons. I agree that they don't look good if I don't keep them trimmed.

@looeyville I’m not one of those guys who secretly gets pedis but denies it - I just don’t get them. However caring for my own toenails is getting more difficult with advancing age, so no doubt I’ll have to succumb to getting them cut eventually but there’ll be no massaging or fancy potions.
