Should BBC apologize to Trump over doctored speech?

Sometimes it can be difficult to tell between real and fake speeches of president Trump. The BBC is now caught in a scandal where they editted president Trump's speech on the capitol riots in 2021 an one wonders how a credible outlet like BBC would be involved in such a mess.

The BBC is not as trustworthy as you think.
Years ago, I woke up, turned it on and heard about a hate killing of the leader of a gay organisation. The BBC went on and on about how the gay leader was murdered, diving into homophobia, etc.
When I reached to office and listened to local news, it was revealed that the gay guy was killed by his lover who was in custody.
The BBC NEVER corrected its error. It dropped the story.
This just one example.

@ogbenishyna44 that is standard. It has its own agenda, pushes forward certain views as if truth and the world believes

what makes it so serious is that we have listened to the BBC from day one... we used to get it on shortwave. I can't speak as to their reliability before the 2000s, but since then, in my country, not only did they they turn a crime of passion into a hate crime but an uprising in a closed community in Kingston into a island wide event.
