So, we go to my Moms on a Sunday for a roast dinner, and she always puts a dinner up for me for Monday teatime.
The Mister put the shopping away yesturday and the dinner for today went into the fridge.
So about an hour ago I went to get the chicken dinner from the fridge ….and what did I find…..
It had been pushed right to the back of the fridge and it was frozen solid !!!
I let it thaw out but the veggies, cauliflower and sprouts, went all mushy.
So I just had chicken, roast potatoes, sage and onion stuffing and gravy.
I’ve got some fruit for pudding ….
What have you had to eat today ..?

Do you have Velveeta cheese in Great Britain? You melt Velveeta cheese, put in a can of Rotel tomatoes and peppers, put it over tortilla chips, and you have a delightful meal. Velveeta cheese any other way is disgusting to me, but like that, it’s tasty. That’s what I had for lunch. For breakfast, I had a Cutie.

Do you ever buy the boxed Velveeta cheese dinners? I have a Velveeta Cheese Philly Cheesesteak dinner sitting on the counter for supper tonight.
(We get three or four meals out of one box and a lbs of hamburger.)

Your fridge is misadjusted. It shouldn't freeze stuff just because it's pushed to the back.
I had a hot ham and cheese sandwich for breakfast and am thinking about eating steamed mixed veggies for late lunch today.

Things like that happen when you aren't the only person in a house. I'm glad it's fixed now.

Well your din sounds unfortunate. I am making a ravioli lasagna. There is enough to feed an army. I will give some away and freeze the rest.

@traceyjayne How disappointing for you. I made a truly grotesque shepherds pie kind of thing. I’m going to have to try harder.

@Traceyjayne It just didn’t all come together somehow. Perhaps I’m losing my touch. Maybe the missus’s turn to do the cooking.

I'm sorry your veggies were ruined. I had a Meals on Wheels lunch of a chicken patty sandwich, cheesy potatoes, broccoli and pears.
