Rough nights royally suck.

Good afternoon. Not sure how well I slept, but George had a rough night. I am a little tired, but I'll live. Got George going and he's sitting in the sun with his meds. So, he's happy at least.

I used to be turned around like that, too. I think the weather tends to play a role in this.

@kaylachan Probably. In my case I have discovered that I listen better to TV at night. It is more silent.

@marguicha That's likely because most of the world sleeps at night.

I fell asleep for about an hour yesterday. Unfortunately the phone rang. It has me energized enough to go another 24 hours or more.

Yeah, that's not healthy.

@LindaOHio You also have to adjust your sleeping habits. If I understand it, you sleep in a recliner. That's not healthy, and you're not going to get a good night's sleep. You need some kind of bed, where you can move if you need to. You need to turn off all distractions, since the slightest noise prevents you from falling back to sleep. You know, set a routine and stick to it. easier said than done, but still.

@kaylachan I know but I don't know what to do about it. The doctor offers me pills; but they don't work anyway.

Poor fellow. Maybe he's having some anxiety about the upcoming procedure.

@celticeagle I'm not sure about that. Since he had the stroke, he's been suprisingly good atempting to communicate his needs. But, he also can't always express what he needs or wants.

If he is, he's not able to tell me.

I am glad George got his dose of sunshine today. I hope you both have a more restful night. My body refuses to change to the clock so I get up at my usual 8 AM knowing it is only 7 AM but my body has had enough sleep.

As long as you're getting that much-needed sleep it's all good.

Rough night for sure, huh? Glad George’s chillin’ in the sun though — hope you get a minute to just breathe and maybe crash later.

I can't really crach unless/until he does for obvious reasons, but I know how to make it work.
