Well, we did it again.

Good morning. George and I wound up over sleeping a little bit and waking up around 11. We were both awake before then, but that's when we decided to get ourselves out of bed. At least I slept until eight when mother nature yelled at me to get up. I was able to laze about and relax the next couple of hours before finally getting to my feet. Our next door neighbor is trimming and cutting his lawn, so that's a nice sound. You can barely hear anything else. George is out there, enjoying the sun.

My grass was cut for the last time yesterday. I should get the bill today. Have a good weekend.

Ours tends to need trimming year-round depending on where you are in the state because it's tropical here.

@LindaOHio One thing about winters there, snow gives you a break from the mowing. Downside, you need a path shoveled if you go outside.

@kaylachan Yup. Mine won't need cutting again until April probably.

Mother Nature yells at me a lot nowadays. About every 2-3 hours. Ugh! Thursdays are lawn day around here. It's pretty loud and hard to make phone calls and such. I usually plan them for other days if possible. It's nice we won't have the lawn done for about another 6 months. But then there's there's that guy's car alarm that goes off anytime too.

I remember that when living in apartments. Lawn services came when they were scheduled unless it was pouring buckets. It was always disturbing, because of Florida weather they often worked early in the morning before the heat ramped up. And, don't get me started on car alarms. They are sensitive. I've set ours off in the van a few times.

@kaylachan I have accidentally set my car alarm off too and it always is embarrassing.

@LeaPea2417 The old truck didn't have one, so the van we do have does. I own my home and it has a grage to live in. Still wasn't fun because it scared me first time it happened.

I would feel like I wasted my day if I got up at 11.

I hope you both had a good day and will have a relaxing evening. I usually open one eye take a look at the clock and then decide if I should roll over to the other side or dash to the bathroom
