Enjoyable Day

Spent most of the morning in the garage watching the squirrels and birds. Still do not know that kind of bird the one is. He is bigger than a crow, dark color, but almost grey under the wings. No white head so not an eagle. Could be a Hawk or a Black Vulture. But while I was watching him soar way up over my head, another red looking large bird flew over and toward the East. There were about 3 or 4 Crows and 2 of them were attacking him. He didn't seem to be worried about them, and eventually came flying back towards me. As he went over the house I could see the underside of him..it had an awesome design in the feathers. Pretty sure it was a Red Hawk. Hope he comes back. Buddy, the squirrel came up to the garage door to get a peanut. Did a few Jigsaw puzzles on the computer and watched/listened to TV. We had leftover Sausage Gravy and Biscuits. Love those frozen biscuits! Going to AmVets tomorrow for Bingo. Hope everyone has a good, safe, and enjoyable Weekend.

Where do live where hawks get bullied around, I was thinking a vulture with under wings but its hard to mistake vulture for a hawk or vice versa. I guess you can if so far away.

I think the Big Red Bird was a Cooper Hawk. I went through videos of them flying and though the underside was a little different than the one I saw, it was the closest to the one I saw. I checked out videos/pictures of the Bigger Black Bird..still wondering. Can't see his head, but the outline doesn't seem to be a vulture. Sure wish it would come closer. That Cooper Hawk was just above the garage, I could see the underside of his wings..I have seen that design in Native American crafts. Now I know where they got the design from. Have always been drawn to Native American designs,

Enjoy your bingo. It would be nice if you see the hawk again.
