About 4 times a year the city will host a free cycling/free shredding event near our house.
We have some old tax files and documents from the mother-in-law that we want to take to shred.
We do have a shredder, but it was quite a bit of material, so we'd rather take it somewhere to have it done.
Do you shred your old documents?

No, we put them in a cardboard box and stash the box on top of the fridge. We really don't get/make many documents that would need to be shredded.
When we moved to this house, Pretty burned all the old documents/paperwork we had that was older than 7 years. I tend to keep paperwork until we move to a new house so we had 22 years worth of paperwork stored in the garage at the last house we lived in. It made a beautiful bonfire out in our back yard.

No, but I have one I used to use. I hated those little shreds of paper. I should plug it in for a minute to entertain the cat.
