Well, the pill crusher gets a vacation. Oh, and Good morning.

Well, George took his last dose of his antibotic last night. Unless he doesn't want to swollow tynoal whole, I don't have anything to crush for now. He's had his blood thinner and that'll continue until next week when I need to pause it for two days prior to his procedure. When I give him his final dose of that Monday night I think that's when reality will come crashing down.
I'll be glad when this is over and George is either free from his peg tube, or has a new one. Although if a smaller option is an option, I won't complain. We both know he can't eat like he'd want and it's possible that won't ever change. I don't want to be pesimistic, but it's really up to George and if he puts in the work.
At least he has sun to enjoy.

Hopefully George will find happiness in his life after his next medical procedure.

Overall, he's generally happy. Unless he's not. But, he's happy most of the time.

I bet it will quite a time when George is free of his peg tube. Do you think George will put in the work?

I don't know. It takes willpower, but I also don't think his throat ever healed correctly. He got poor care in that department.

He has made a concious effort to eat, but I just don't think we're there, yet.

Yeah, that’s a lot to carry, and I can’t even imagine how heavy it gets some days. Just hoping the procedure goes smooth and he gets a little bit of peace after all this.”

The tube itself is light weight, but it's long. With enough force it could be ripped out of the stoma. So he always has to think about where it is. While the long tube, with all parts is easy for me, having to be aware of it is the hardest thing. He also feels it push and tug. It likely pinches because he's put on weight since it was first placed.
