Was What I Did Right ??

It's evening. Today was Sunday. My shop was closed and I was free. I decided to visit the jungle to see how it looks in the noon. I told my parents and my wife where I was going and that I'll return by noon. They allowed me. As I came out of my home, I saw a lad aiming at a sparrow perching on a lower branch of the tree in front of my house. I shouted at him. He was apparently afraid and looked at me. I threatened him, " Don't do such things in front of my house. I won't tolerate it. Go away somewhere else." He immediately ran away. I want to ask you, was what I did right?? I saved a innocent bird's life.

Thank you.I normally don't talk in harsh words. But I had no alternative. The lad is the son of a drunkard father. He is a spoiled boy. He doesn't understand polite words. That's why I had to threaten him, and the life of a innocent, small friend was saved.

@Dreamerby Thank you I hate killing innocent animals and birds. That's why I had to do that.

That's absolutely fine. Not the best way but effective in such a case ! Hard lesson for the boy.

Thank you, my friend. I had no option. I know what kind of a lad he is. A completely spoiled boy. Polite words are meaningless to him. That's why I had to threaten.him.

You absolutely did the right thing. Saying it forcefully drove home the point it is not acceptable, and maybe now he’ll think twice before trying it again. That sparrow shouldn’t have been killed for his enjoyment.

We each do things according to the way we were brought up. You saved the bird's life. How you did that doesn't really matter.

Thank you. I'm glad I saved a bird's life. And I had no option. The lad would have killed the sparrow if I had not shouted at and threatened him.

@Shivram59 You're welcome. And I agree, if you had not shouted, he would have shot and killed the bird.

@DaddyEvil I know the lad. He's the son of a drunkard and a pick pocket. A dropout from school, he is a soiled boy. Therefore I shouted at him and threatened. Thank you.

Thank you, my friend. I saved the sparrow's life. That's what I'm happy about. Had I talked to him politely, my words would have fell in deaf ears and he would have killed the bird.
