Building a career takes years

As a foster parent of children I sometimes watch the matrimonial columns in the newspapers. It gives me an Idea what the situation is in the marriage market. Quite many of the matrimonial ads are posted by parents seeking alliances for their daughters. It's interesting to see that quite many of these ads are for seeking grooms for career girls. As we can see these girls are 29 or 30 years of age. Some are even 35 and more! Many of them are career women well placed in high jobs. I understand building a career takes a lot of time; actually years . That , I believe, is the reason, many women of these times marry late. I may be wrong.
