Today's Goal- Finish Up Some Yardwork!

We have rain on the way that should hit on Friday. It was supposed to be Thursday afternoon, but now the weather guys are saying Friday.
We cut down a tree Monday to make it easier to get a new storage shed delivered and wanted this tree out of the way. It was leaning, so we decided to take it out now instead of later.
That has been the project of the week so far and I am hoping that we finish up later today. We have another tree growing up in my old Camelia bush and that one will also be coming down since we are working in that area.
Other than getting the rest of the tree up and out of the way, we have made good progress this week. That's a good thing because we have a funeral to go to Thursday in Louisiana.

It's supposed to start storming/raining today in my part of the world and keep raining through Friday afternoon. At least it's just rain! We won't get below the low-40s overnight and should be in the mid-60s during the daytime.
We need to go grocery shopping and I have a doctor appointment in Springfield this week.

They keep changing the forecast for us. It was supposed to start raining here Thursday afternoon. Nope, no rain at all. And Friday went from storming with hail to just rain and thunderstorms. So far, just a very light rain on and off here. This afternoon may be different, but I'm going to get a flea market run in and we need a stop at Walmart and maybe Aldi's too.

@kareng Yup, same here. They keep changing the forecast. We did get storms/rain several days this week and I had to drive to Springfield for my doctor appointment in a storm. Today it was storming early but is sunny now.
We got groceries yesterday but didn't get everything we need. We'll have to go shopping again before Thanksgiving.

@DaddyEvil We got some rain, but no thunderstorms..yay! Yeah, I only made Walmart yesterday, so Aldi's on the radar. Nothing urgent from there, so all good.

I'm happy with what I got done today--a bit of shopping, unloaded the dishwasher, and hour of cleaning, did some vacuuming, and unloaded and mostly reloaded the dishwasher.

I’m sure everything looks great by now - lol!
Against my husband’s wishes, I hired a tree company to take down 9 trees the summer before last just so I could have more sun in my flower garden.
Repeat this past autumn. Can’t wait to get started on my garden this spring.

I missed my veggie garden last spring and summer as I broke out in the rash from you know where in April that lasted until first of August before completely gone. So nothing happened out there because with the medications I was on, I could not get in the sun. It was a bummer of a summer!!
