I'm Surviving Wednesday

Tomorrow is the day so I'm just surviving today. I called on dad last night. It's more of the same. His kidney numbers are still rising and when he does open his eyes, he's not really there. He doesn't follow commands and then shuts them again. It's been like this for about a week and I guess I was hoping for a miracle. Mom and I sat this morning and picked out his urn and the three of us will be getting matching necklaces. We made them up this morning we just need to order everything. It'll be tight but we'll figure it out. Mom refuses to go up to Maryland with us next month but I'll keep trying. I need to go home, I want my sister. The past few days I haven't read because I've had meetings or trainings so ;ate nights and early mornings. I don't really sleep right now so it's patchy sleep but still sleep. I finally got the panoramic Nightmare Before Christmas puzzle glued so now I'm on the last of the three puzzles. I started that this morning. I have been working on the shop. A few more things up and a few more things sold. I'll do better next year when things have some sort of normalcy. We're slowly getting the house decorated. It'll take time and it hurts like crazy but I know that both gram and daddy would love it. They both loved my Harry Potter collection. I'll be getting my mom's pajamas this week so that I can make our First Responder Family pajamas. I'm excited for them. I'm sorry the rest of the family won't be here but we still have each other. I'll also be turning in my notary application this week. It should make it in in time for the next meeting. Fingers crossed anyway. We're doing the smoke alarm blitz on Saturday then we're rearranging mom's computer room. It'll look better I think. More organized. I'm trying. I have a village around me and I'm trying to get mom to go out. It's just going to take time. What is everyone else up to today?
