Our Bank Woes Continue

This time with the account of our medical college student daughter. I had helped her open an account in the erstwhile Allahabad Bank ( Now, renamed Indian Bank) to get a government scholarship. As she went to college I upgraded the account and added ATM facility. It is the account where she receives her internship remuneration and pays her food bills. Unfortunately, last week she found the account locked. She went to the bank branch near her college. They couldn't solve the issue. They advised her to get it unlocked ed at the branch where the account was opened. She asked me to contact our local branch and get the account unlocked. I went to the bank with relevant documents. The desk clerk, a plump woman told me to fill up three forms and said the child would have to come to the bank in person to do the needful as biometrics would be recorded. It will take 7/8 days, the counter clerk added. The student doctor will have to apply for leave and will have to come home. With a Sunday on the way she will need four days atleast to do the needful and return to her college. Well friends, life throws such trials to us. But when the work is successfully completed the joy will be doubled. What do you say?
