Holding On

Our friend, Rusty, is holding his own. The VA sent a specialist for him. Rusty is a fighter...Army Special Forces...Green Beret.
I saw something yesterday morning that I have never seen before in my life. THOUSANDS of birds. All of them sitting in trees in the neighborhood. All of them chirping at once. Swapping trees back and forth. Then at 10:30am.they ALL quit chirping..all at once. Dead silence..a few seconds later they everyone flew away. No laggers. Reminded me of the movie The Birds.
Did not see one Dove or a Squirrel for 2 hours after they left. Not even the Blue Jay squawked. But when they DID show up...they were hungry. 
We had Steak and Cheese Subs last night. Going to AmVets for Bingo today.

That’s interesting about the birds. Maybe they had another concert to play at 11 AM and had to leave!

That would be amazing to see. I guess the birds have all migrated somewhere.

Actually we saw a smaller flock this morning. They were singing loudly and then just like yesterday..they quit..Silence then off they went. No idea if this is a different flock or part of the one from yesterday.

Sending another prayer for Rusty.
Maybe the birds were migrating. I hope Bingo was fun.
