And Jessica has already made me look for her once. She was curled up in the corner of the tarp. They seem to like the spot I made for them. I didn't do very much this afternoon. Decided to relax since I will be dealing with people tomorrow while I get my shopping done. I got a grand jury summons this afternoon. I have to go in January for that. I am hoping they don't pick me. I have to fill out a paper before and mail it back. Hope you had a good day.

I hope Jessica behaves herself and stays put! Jury duty...I was called right as Covid started. They ended up postponing it and then I got another notice saying that I didn't have to report. I've done my share of jury duties, and one grand jury round, as well. Right now, I don't think I could manage it.

The one time I got called for jury duty I was twenty-five, and I remember being annoyed I was going to make less money going into court than being at my job. Fortunately, although they had me up in the box to pepper me with questions, I was not chosen.
